CONSTRUCTION MANAGER AT RISK

Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) is a project delivery method which entails a commitment by the Construction Manager to deliver the project within a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) which is based on the construction documents and specifications at the time of the GMP plus any reasonably inferred items or tasks. Selection of the CMAR by the project owner is based on previous experience and qualifications.

Our extensive experience with CMAR projects has provided us with the knowledge to be an industry leader in its processes and practices. Having completed more than 70 CMAR projects for more than 15 public and private clients, we understand the CMAR process, particularly pre-construction services, and we embrace the fact that all aspects of the process adhere to an open-book approach and a well-defined Schedule of Values. Ultimately, the team is rewarded with a GMP that balances subjective/objective risks and costs and maximize value to the client. We understand our fiduciary role on a CMAR team is to manage and report cost and schedule impacts associated with design evolution, constructability reviews, and value engineering initiatives. Our team performs these critical services quickly and effectively while ensuring construction is completed on or under budget, timely, safely, and to the highest quality.
